Dogs are a beloved part of the Seaport Community. You can find them on long walks in the neighborhood, visiting one of the dogs parks, shopping at Polka Dog or Bond Vet, and attending one of the many dog friendly events ranging from The Holiday Market at Snowport to Cisco Brewers. To celebrate our favorite four-legged friends, Seaport will appoint an official neighborhood dog mayor in 2024.

In March of 2025, we’ll celebrate our dog mayor at Seaport’s first InDOGuration, where we’ll have the reveal of the mayor’s official portrait and the reveal of the ceremonial mayor’s house, Barksworth Manor. There will be two rounds of voting, one general round and one round amongst the top 5 candidates. We will announce our dog mayor on Friday, November 1st.
