While there’s always something new in Seaport, one thing remains consistent: Betty the Yeti’s return each winter. Pink, plush, and just plain convivial, Betty may travel the globe in the off seasons, but she will always call Snowport her home. Betty’s stardom shines far and wide across Snowport, inspiring cocktails at all her favorites bars, short stories by some of Boston’s aspiring young writers, and yes, even a plushie.
Paparazzi, get your cameras ready. Everyone’s favorite cryptozoological queen is BACK. Catch Betty front and center (would you expect anything less?) at the Superette Courtyard. She’ll be in The Superette Courtyard at Betty's Blizzard Bluff from 12:00 – 3:00pm on select dates. Find her on her fuchsia throne, camera ready as always.
Turning 389 this year, Betty has been all over the world but always makes her way back to Boston to celebrate Snowport. Much like Bigfoot himself, Betty the Yeti is an elusive character, and you never know when you’ll see her next!
All profits from Betty the Yeti merch sales will be donated back to 826 Boston, home of the Greater Boston Bigfoot Research Institute.
Grab a special Betty-inspired cocktail (or mocktail!) for a great cause. Pick up a crawl card from participating locations, get a stamp at each stop, and earn a free Betty beanie. For every Betty cocktail sold, Seaport will donate $1 to 826 Boston, a local youth literacy organization.
Visit Betty’s Blizzard Bluff at The Superette. The Courtyard is a winter wonderland (or Betty-land depending on who you ask), featuring twinkling lights and snow mounds reminiscent of Betty’s birthplace in the Himalayas. Stop by and see if you’re lucky enough to spot Ms. Elusive and Exclusive herself.
